New Town

The New Town in Warsaw was built between of the XIV and XV centuries. It is located in the north from the Old Town. On the New Town’s area there are six churches, two museums and cast-iron well from the second half of XIX century (it stand here from 1958 year).

Access: the buses number: 116, 122, 175, 195, 503, 518. The New Town is located on the north from Old Town. The Old Town with the New Town is connected by Freta Street. The Market Square of the New Town in Warsaw was established before 1408 year. Initially it had rectangle shape. Today it is shapeless and has diverse level.
The Market Square of the New Town was pulled down in 1944, now is reconstructed. It refers to buildings from the turn of the XVIII and XIX centuries. Another monuments on the Market Square of the New Town: cast-iron well from the second half of XIX century (it stand here from 1958 year).
